Homemade Black Pepper Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp black peppercorns
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Shaoxing rice wine
  • 2 tsp potato starch
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Pour the whole peppercorns into a mortar and crush them into a coarse powder with the pestle. Make sure that the peppercorns are still a bit chunky and coarse, but don't leave any whole peppercorns.


  2. Then combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and stir into a smooth sauce.


  3. Store the black pepper sauce in the fridge until needed. This black pepper sauce is a great marinade for beef!
