Time for an experiment! Finger lickin’ good… And I am talking about this classic shrimp boil with corn, potatoes, sausage and Old Bay seasoning of course!! A delicious summer fest…
Our very first shrimp boil dinner ever…
And by the look on my husband’s face it won’t be the last one.
Shrimp Boil Recipe with Old Bay Seasoning
And I love that Old Bays seasoning that I seasoned this dish with!
I got this classic seafood seasoning from an American friend of mine who brought some over while visiting us in Europe. I have used it in many dishes before, especially fish and seafood dishes.
And yes, it goes well with chicken too!
I love to rub it onto some fresh chicken wings for instance, before I bake them in my airfryer. If you have never tasted or cooked with Old Bay before, try to find it somewhere – I am sure that you can even order it online.
Old Bay Seasoning
Do you love cooking with Old Bay?
Then you should also check out my boiled stone crab claws in butter and Old Bay seasoning as well!
The hubs made a great rouille dipping sauce for this shrimp boil meal.
I know, that is not a traditional dip to serve with these shrimp. But I loved it nevertheless. So his rouille dip contained a couple of tablespoons of creamy mayonnaise, tomato paste, saffron powder, garlic powder, salt and a pinch of Old Bay of course…
Splendid!
Enjoy!
