Add a few tablespoons of the warm milk to a small cup and stir in the yeast.
Put this mixture aside for 10 minutes. Melt the butter in the remaining warm milk.
Then add the flour, sugar and beaten egg to a blender. Season with salt.
Blend a few times and then add the buttery milk.
Pulse again and then add the yeast milk.
Blend into a wet dough.
Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for 2 minutes. Shape it into a little ball and place in a lightly oiled bowl or dish. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place until it has doubled in volume. This will take about 2 hours.
