Ingredients

  • 10,5 oz ground pork (300 g)
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • 4 tbsp shallot sliced
  • 1 red chili chopped
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar or palm sugar
  • 6 green beans chopped
  • a handful fresh Thai basil
  • vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Combine the fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, red chili pepper and palm (or brown) sugar until you get a nice marinade.

  3. Put it aside until needed later while the sugar dissolves. Then add the garlic paste and a splash of vegetable oil to a large non-stick pan.

  5. Put the pan over medium heat and fry the garlic paste for a minute. Stir constantly. Add the pork mince.

  7. Bake the mince for 4 to 5 minutes until browned and cooked. Break up any big lumps as you stir. Then add the chopped green beans.

  9. Stir well and cook for a minute. Pour in the fish sauce marinade.

  11. Stir the pork for another 2 minutes and then take the pan off the heat. Now stir in the freshly chopped Thai basil.
