Simple Ham Sandwiches

Simple ingredients are needed for these sandwiches: sliced cooked ham, freshly grated carrots, ricotta, fresh cucumber slices and a good dash of freshly ground black pepper. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices toast bread
  • a handful fresh carrot grated
  • 12 slices fresh cucumber
  • 3 tbsp ricotta
  • 2 slices cooked ham
  • 2 handfuls potato crisps
  • pepper
  • salt

Instructions

  1. 1) Place two slices of the toast bread next to each other and top them with a slice of cooked ham on one side and half of the freshly grated carrot on the other side.

  2. 2) Top with half of the fresh cucumber slices and half of the ricotta. Season the sandwiches with a little pinch of salt and a good dash of freshly ground black pepper.

  3. 3) Close the sandwich and make another one in the same way. Then grill or toast the sandwiches for 5 minutes or until warm and golden. Slice the hot sandwiches up into triangles. Place them onto plates and serve with a handful of crisps on the side. Serve immediately.
